Just under 100 Adults gathered to recommit themselves to God and Country. They recommitted themselves to the service of the youth of the Trinidad and Tobago Cadet Force, the organisation itself, and to the nation of Trinidad and Tobago.
Led by the three chaplains, a Recommitment Ceremony was held at the chapel at St. Mary’s College on Frederick Street, Port of Spain.

After being led in an inspiring word by the Chaplains, the adults were led in the Recommitment Prayer.
Addressing those present, Lieutenant Colonel York reflected on the passing of the COVID pandemic, and thanked God that no member of the TTCF succumbed to the pandemic.
He then reflected on the work of the adults over this period, and encouraged adults to put their proverbial shoulders to the harness and perform their duties with ‘standard’, the highest quality they are capable and to be servants to the Cadet Force.
Adults were reminded to take care of the youth of the Cadet Force, and also to be each others’ keepers.

Later, the attendees sang of “God Bless or Nation”, and the greeting of others present. The service ended with a blessing by the Chaplains for 2023 and beyond.
