16 Caribbean Cadet Forces to Attend Conference in Port of Spain

Youth development will take the stage as Commandants from Cadet Forces and Corps from around the Caribbean meet to host the 32nd Caribbean Commandants Conference at the Office of Law Enforcement Policy (OLEP) Building on London Street in Port of Spain during the period 28th to 30th August 2019.

The annual conference is a forum of the Caribbean Cadet Association, for Cadet Force/Corps Commandants from across the region to hold collective discussions on mutual and common concerns while sharing experiences and ideas.

This year’s conference will see the participation of sixteen (16) Caribbean countries, including Trinidad and Tobago under the theme “Creating Experiences for Tomorrow’s Leaders”.

An Opening Ceremony for the conference will be held at the OLEP Building on Wednesday 28th August, starting sharply at 0900HRS. Honourable Glenda Jennings Smith, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of National Security will bring greetings on behalf of the Ministry of National Security.

Air Commodore Darryl Daniel, Chief of Defence Staff will deliver the feature address.

Members of the media are invited to cover the opening ceremony.
