Cadet Force Collaborates with Regiment to Host Unit Commanders’ Course

The Cadet Force is currently engaged in a collaborative project with the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment to train its adults to be efficient Unit Commanders.

The Course is a 5 weekend course designed to assist Unit Commanders in the administration and management of their Units.

Thirty-five adults are currently enrolled in the program under the direction of the Chief Instructor Major Kerwyn Bain. Flight Lieutenant Bilal Milette has been appointed Course Director.

Among the topics being covered within the course, participants will receive training in the areas of:

  • Protocol
  • Service Writing
  • Administration

Lectures will also be conducted in the areas of “Duty of Care” and an “Introduction to Leadership”.

The course comprises 13 contact hours of instruction spread over 5 Saturday afternoons.
