Through the participation of the Cariapichaima Secondary School Unit and the Chaguanas South Secondary School (both 2TTCF) the Cadet Force led the “300 Men March” in Chaguanas on Saturday.
Hosted by The Single Fathers’ Association in conjunction with H.O.M.B.R.E., and seeing participation by His Worship Alderman Gopaul Boodan, the Mayor of Chaguanas the Senior Superintendent Kenny McIntyre, Head of the Central Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
The cadets led the march which went from the premises of the Chaguanas Borough Corporation into the streets of Chaguanas and back to the Corporation’s offices.
Our cadets are taught lessons of discipline, teamwork, and protecting their friends, peers and even their adversaries. Having them participate in these types of activities gives an opportunity for our young male and female cadets to engage the discussion among their peers, and to meet persons who are involved in the work of curbing crime, spreading non violence, and the eradication of domestic and other types of violence in society.
